Fernsehturm Uetliberg

The Uetliberg TV Tower is a 187-meter-tall reinforced concrete transmission tower with a steel tower top located on the Uetliberg near Zurich . The TV tower serves Swisscom Broadcast for the distribution of radio and television programs in the Zurich region and is not normally open to the public. Guided tours are available by appointment. In addition, the tower provides microwave links for television program transmission, professional radio, and GSM services , and serves as a measuring station for the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology .
